SMS Messaging Terms
Last updated: July 24, 2026
SoTrustworthy provides technology that allows businesses to send review requests, follow-ups, reminders, and related customer-service messages by SMS. These SMS Messaging Terms explain how the messaging program works. They are in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Roles used in these terms:
- SoTrustworthy — the technology platform that transmits messages on behalf of subscribed businesses.
- Business — the SoTrustworthy customer that configures campaigns and sends messages to its own customers.
- Recipient — the person who receives messages from a Business.
1. Program description
Recipients may receive:
- Review requests;
- Follow-up reminders;
- Customer-service messages;
- Messages related to a completed service, appointment, transaction, or existing customer relationship.
2. Consent
By providing your mobile number and affirmatively consenting to receive text messages from the identified business, you authorize that business and its service providers, including SoTrustworthy, to send messages to that number using automated technology where permitted. Consent is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.
Consent applies to the specific business identified at the time of opt-in and does not automatically authorize unrelated SoTrustworthy customers to contact you.
3. Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on your interactions with the business and the campaigns for which you provided consent.
4. Charges
Message and data rates may apply.
5. Opt-out
Reply STOP to any message to opt out. After you send STOP, you may receive one final confirmation message. You will not receive additional messages from that messaging program unless you provide consent again. Standard opt-out keywords are also supported where the messaging system recognizes them.
6. Help
Reply HELP for help or contact admin@sotrustworthy.com.
7. Supported carriers and delivery
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to carrier networks, device availability, and service-provider availability, and is not guaranteed.
8. Privacy and mobile-data sharing
SoTrustworthy does not sell mobile information or text messaging consent. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties, except service providers that help deliver the requested messaging service.
For more information about how we handle personal information, see our Privacy Policy.
9. Business-customer responsibilities
Businesses that use SoTrustworthy must:
- Obtain and document legally valid consent before messaging any recipient;
- Clearly identify themselves in messages;
- Honor opt-outs promptly and permanently;
- Send only messages covered by the recipient's consent;
- Comply with the TCPA, CTIA guidelines, carrier requirements, and applicable laws;
- Avoid purchased, scraped, or third-party contact lists that lack valid consent;
- Avoid misleading, deceptive, prohibited, or unlawful content.
