How to Find Your Google Review Link

SoTrustworthySoTrustworthy Team·2 min read

Your Google review link is the direct URL that opens the "Write a review" form for your business. No searching, no scrolling — one tap and your customer is writing a review.

If you're sending customers to your homepage or asking them to "find us on Google," you're losing 60–80% of them. Here's how to get the real link.

Method 1: From your Google Business Profile (fastest)

  1. Sign in to google.com/business with the account that manages your profile.
  2. Click your business (or select the location if you have multiple).
  3. On the home dashboard, find the "Get more reviews" card.
  4. Click Share review form.
  5. Copy the short link — it looks like https://g.page/r/XXXXXXXXXX/review.

That's your review link. Save it somewhere permanent.

Method 2: From Google Maps (works for anyone)

Don't have manager access? You can still build the link:

  1. Open Google Maps and search your business.
  2. Click your business listing.
  3. Scroll to the Reviews section and click Write a review.
  4. Copy the URL from your browser address bar.

This gives you a working review link even without owning the profile.

Method 3: Using your Place ID (most reliable)

Google's Place IDs never change, so this link works forever — even if you rename or move your business.

  1. Go to Google's Place ID Finder.
  2. Search your business name.
  3. Copy the Place ID (it looks like ChIJN1t_tDeuEmsRUsoyG83frY4).
  4. Paste it into this URL:

https://search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid=YOUR_PLACE_ID

Example: https://search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid=ChIJN1t_tDeuEmsRUsoyG83frY4

  • g.page short link — easiest to remember, great for print materials, business cards, and email signatures.
  • Place ID review link — most reliable for automation and long-term use. Never breaks.

Both open the same review form. Use whichever fits.

Open the link in an incognito browser window (not signed in as yourself). You should see the Google review form for your business, with the 5-star selector at the top. If you see a search page or the wrong business, the link is wrong — fix it before sending it to customers.

Add it everywhere

Once you have your link, put it in:

  • Your review request text messages
  • Email signatures
  • Invoices and receipts
  • Business cards (as a QR code)
  • Your website (a "Leave a Review" button)
  • Thank-you cards
