How Jobber Users Can Automate Review Requests

If you run a home service business on Jobber, every completed job is a chance to earn a Google review. SoTrustworthy connects to your Jobber account and turns closed-out jobs into automated review request text messages.

Here is exactly how it works today, and how to set it up.

What the Jobber integration does

When you connect Jobber, SoTrustworthy uses read-only OAuth to look at your Clients, Jobs, Visits, and Invoices. It does not create, edit, or delete anything in Jobber.

On a regular sync (every 15 minutes), SoTrustworthy checks for newly completed jobs, matches them to the customer's phone number in Jobber, and enrolls that customer into your active review request campaign. When the delay you set has elapsed, SoTrustworthy sends the SMS through Twilio and logs the send in your dashboard.

Setup (about five minutes)

1. Connect Jobber

1. Sign up for SoTrustworthy.
2. In the dashboard, open Integrations.
3. Click Connect Jobber and authorize read-only access to Clients, Jobs, Visits, and Invoices.

Read-only scopes mean Jobber will not have to prompt your customers to re-consent later for extra permissions.

2. Add your Google review link

1. Open Settings → Business Profile.
2. Paste your Google review link. If you don't have it, see How to Find Your Google Review Link.
3. Save.

3. Edit your SMS template

1. Open Campaigns and pick your review request campaign.
2. Edit the message. The default is:

Hi {{first_name}}, thanks for choosing {{business_name}}! If we did a great job, would you mind leaving us a quick Google review? {{review_link}}

3. Set the delay after job completion. A short delay (a couple of hours) usually works well while the experience is fresh.

4. Activate the campaign

Flip the campaign to Active. From this point on, every completed Jobber job that has a valid phone number gets enrolled automatically.

What happens after a job is completed

1. SoTrustworthy sees the completed job on the next Jobber sync.
2. The customer is enrolled once — repeat syncs will not double-send.
3. When the configured delay passes, the SMS is sent through Twilio using your sender number.
4. The send, provider message ID, and any failure reason are logged in your dashboard.

Customers without a usable phone number in Jobber are skipped, and the skip reason is recorded so you can fix the record and re-sync.

How this compares to Jobber's built-in review requests

Jobber has its own client communications and automated review request emails as part of its marketing features. If email is working for you, keep using it.

SoTrustworthy is different in two ways:
